Sometimes my mind goes places that are a little bit different. Most of the time I keep those thoughts to myself. Today, I want to put them out there for others to entertain. My question today is who is the enemy trying to kill? Who is it that the devil does not want to have a chance to bring victory to God's Kingdom and God's people? Why do I ask?
The Enemy Tried to Kill Moses
Exodus 1:15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 16 “When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.” 22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live.”
The enemy went to great lengths to kill Moses as a baby. I realize that Satan is not omniscient or all-knowing like God is. However, I do believe he senses when things are coming or about to take place. The children of God were enslaved and without a leader and without hope. There was no way the enemy wanted their condition to improve. If he could kill Moses, God's chosen leader, then perhaps he could stop God's people from experiencing and enjoying freedom.
The Enemy Tried to Kill Jesus
Matthew 2:16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.
The enemy again went to great lengths to kill God's chosen deliverer - Jesus Christ - as a baby. Once again the people of God were enslaved and without a leader and without hope. The enemy was content to see them in that same condition. If he could kill Jesus as a baby then perhaps he could stop God's people from experiencing and enjoying freedom.
Are You the One the Enemy Has Tried to Kill?
On January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court, in a 7-2 decision, handed down two rulings legalizing abortion in America.
WORLDWIDE
Number of abortions per year: Approximately 42 Million
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 115,000
Once again the enemy found the people of God in a state of enslavement; without hope and without a leader. Could it be that a generation ago he sensed the coming of a deliverer? Could it be that he has gone out of his way to kill that or those leaders in the womb?
The way I see it, he will end up 0 for 3. He failed to kill Moses. He failed to kill Jesus. He has failed or will fail to kill God's chosen person or generation. Perhaps he was trying to kill you. Perhaps you have been created by God for such a time as this to be great for His Kingdom.
Just a thought from outside of the box with a pastor . . .
Until next time.

I recently heard Kim Clement say that the one who was Gods choice for our next President had been aborted from in his mother's womb. Now we are suffering for the choices we have made as a people.
